Privacy

Connected Stack is an attendee service operated by True Ventures. It helps attendees follow the event, discover people and demos, and make direct connections.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your verified email address, name, profile image, and a stable Google account identifier. We also store information you choose to add to your attendee profile, sessions you save, demo reactions, messages you send in the app, and safety actions such as blocks or reports.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, provide the event experience, recommend relevant connections, deliver attendee messages, prevent abuse, investigate safety reports, and operate and secure the service.

Superconnector

Superconnector is optional. When you enable it, recommendations may use the profile details and connection goals you provide, plus sessions you save and demos you react to. Private messages, email contents, reports, and blocks are excluded. Suggestions remain private to you and include a reason for the match.

What other attendees see

Your profile is private by default. It appears in the attendee directory only after you explicitly join the community. Other signed-in, opted-in members can then see the profile fields you provide. Your email address, reports, blocks, and private account data are not shown in the directory. Messages are visible only to their participants.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers, including Google Cloud, to host and secure the service. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect attendees, True Ventures, or the service. We do not sell attendee personal information.

Retention and choices

You can hide your directory profile at any time from your profile settings. We retain information only while it is reasonably needed to operate the event community, maintain security and legal records, and resolve safety issues, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
